You’re invited! Celebrating Community Impact and Co-operative Heritage

Dear Community Partner

As part of the celebrations marking 10 years of the Co-op Local Community Fund, we’d be delighted if you could join us for an evening of refreshments, conversation and community connection.

Date: Wednesday 25th November
Time: 7pm – 8.30pm
Venue: Battle of Prestonpans Jacobite Museum, 157B High Street, Prestonpans, EH32 9AY

The evening will be an opportunity to meet and connect with other local causes, community groups and partners, share experiences, celebrate achievements, and reflect on the positive difference made across our communities over the past decade.

There will be plenty of time for conversation and networking, together with a brief talk from Dr Susan Gillanders of the Scottish Co-operative Discovery Centre on the history and heritage of the Co-operative Movement. Susan will share insights into the movement’s remarkable story and the values that continue to inspire community action today.

Whether you’re a Local Community Fund partner, a community group, or simply have an interest in co-operative heritage and history, we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and informal evening.

Please let us know if you can attend, and how many representatives from your organisation will be joining us.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Kind regards. Marjory
