We have members across the whole of East Lothian and beyond. There are monthly meetings with guest speakers in the winter months, and we also arrange group visits to notable buildings and sites of special interest in the summer months. As a group we can normally gain access to areas from which the public is excluded.
The annual membership fee is £15 for an individual and £20 for two people at the same address. Print copies of our Transactions are published every two years and are supplied free of charge to members. Back numbers are also available for download from this website.
Membership Applications
To join the Society, please complete the Membership Application form and return to the Treasurer either by post or e-mail.
If you are joining between April and December, we ask that you pay the current year’s subscription either directly into the Society’s bank account or by cheque. Thereafter, annual subscriptions are payable on 1 April each year (standing order mandate provided below). The current membership fee is £15 for an individual or £20 for two people at the same address.
If you are a tax payer, please consider completing a Gift Aid Declaration. At no cost to yourself, Gift Aid allows the Society to claim 25 pence from HMRC for very £1 of your annual subscription.
