DESCRIPTION:A Hundred Years of Moth Recording in East Lothian\n\n\n\nThe Society is delighted to present this talk by ecologist Katty Baird at 2.30 PM\, Saturday 19th October\, 2024. \n\n\n\nPlease note that the venue will be at Holy Trinity Church\, Church Street\, HaddingtonNearly a hundred years ago\, Alice Blanche Balfour\, the Society’s first vice President\, published a detailed account of the butterflies and moths of East Lothian in the Transactions. Today\, Katty Baird\, an ecologist and local expert on moths continues to record and document these important insects. \n\n\n\nIn this talk Katty will introduce us to the fascinating world of moths and some of the notable species that live locally.
