SUMMARY:Guided Tour of the Dunbar Ridge Project
DESCRIPTION:Led by Kate Darrah on Tuesday 20th August 2024\, 2.30 PM\n\nOur Summer programme continues with an inspiring visit exploring a ground-breaking charitable social enterprise\, led by its Managing Director Kate Darrah. Its key aim is to create jobs and training opportunities primarily in Dunbar whilst supporting local heritage both in the natural and built environment.  Attendees will observe how this is being achieved by seeing the restoration of Black Bull Close\, hitherto a useless ruin and by exploring the training gardens: Ridge Backlands and Empire Close. The visit will end over refreshments during which there will be ample time for discussion and questions.
